Head of Ecommerce – Dubai UAE
Salary: 30,000 AED per month (Tax Free) + Accommodation
 
A successful, multi-channel fashion retailing business with stores in the UAE, Kuwait, Qatar & Saudi is currently recruiting for a Head of Ecommerce, to oversee a team of approximately 20 staff ensuring the successdul launch of their online site.
 
The Head of Ecommerce role forms an integral part of the business and this fashion retailer seeks a Head of Ecommerce who has the ability to drive optimal commercial interpretation and implementation of the brand’s strategy and vision across the online experience.
 
 
Key Duties & Responsibilities;
 
  • As the Head of Ecommerce you will effectively lead and implement the ecommerce function to ensure the successful launch in 2017 / 2018
  • Lead optimization of website transactional functions to increase sales and service on all platforms.
  • Delivering and managing an easy to use, commercially engaging, smart and sleek online experience. 
  • The Head of Ecommerce will also be responsible for trading and managing all digital marketing activity across UK and International sites.
  • Responsible for developing roadmaps, liaising with key stakeholders, as well as setting decisive and well-reasoned development priorities to deliver maximum commercial benefit.
  • Develop business cases for brand specific strategic initiatives, with awareness of wider group business cases and projects that have an impact on the business.
  • Motivate, engage and influence direct reports to create a high performance culture.
  • Expert in ‘our customer’ acting on Customer Service feedback, usability testing results, web analytics, MIS reporting, CRM, social media and weekly feedback.
  • As the Head of Ecommerce you will develop and communicate an ongoing understanding and awareness of competitor activity, relevant industry and technical knowledge to identify market gaps and opportunities for all products on multiple platforms.
  • Proactively source innovation partners with whom we can engage to deliver world leading personalized, relevant and a captivating ecommerce experience to our customers.
  • Champion product management best practice in conjunction with agile, commercial gain, usability, tech development, TechOps and reporting.
 
 
To be suitable for the Head of Ecommerce role you MUST have:……;
 
  • To be suitable for the Head of Ecommerce role, you will have extensive product management and retail ecommerce experience.
  • Able to drive website development, technical and aesthetic, navigation, performance and functionality efforts to positively impact ecommerce efforts.
  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to exercise sound judgement and commercial acumen.
  • Experience of working in a fast paced retail head office environment with advanced knowledge of initiation and optimization of marketplace channels (Amazon, ebay )
  • Experience with PPC, SEO and Social Media.
  • Strong marketing acumen balanced with financial and analytical skills, as well as the ability to think creatively.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, driving cross functional teams whilst building high performing teams.
  • Be focused, driven and forward thinking and must possess strong leadership skills, the ability to create a following and effectively lead all direct reports to execute the brands vision.
