A growing cookwear retailer is seeking a skilled and experienced Assistant Manager or Supervisor for their new store in Borden to support the Manager in the daily running of the store and its future success. This family business took off 20 years ago and has grown into a multi-channel specialist cookware company with 25 stores nationwide with plans to increase this in the coming years. This brand supplies quality cookware and kitchenware with unique designs saving the customer up to 50% off compared to other leading brands.

​The Role:
  • As an Assistant Manager you will support the Store Manager the daily running of the store, managing and motivating the team to ensure achieved KPI’s
  • You will oversee visual merchandising and housekeeping standards as well as ensure a high level of customer service at all times
  • As the Assistant Manager you will train and develop staff, as well as be involved in any recruitment of new staff
  • You will ensure your team has a good level of product knowledge and skills to support them in achieving sales targets
  • As the Assistant Manager you will oversee store security, till operations and cashing up and banking at the end of the day.

​Ideal candidate:
To be suitable for the role you must have:
  • A minimum of 2 years retail experience, currently at Deputy Manager or Supervisor level
  • Have experience of working within a sales focused environment
  • Be professional, personable, enthusiastic and committed
